Lab updates and our first paper!

Many good news over the past few months, including our first paper, now published in Nucleic Acids Research! πŸŽ‰

It’s been a while, and so many news have accumulated over the past few months:

  • We did our first lab retreat back in last fall and had a blast canoeing the Spree
  • Svenja and Beke joined the lab, welcome!
  • Ben gave a few talks, including at the 22nd International AEK Cancer Congress here in Berlin back in March
  • Lennart presented his project at Tumor Immunology Meets Oncology XIX 2025 and won a prize for his talk, congrats!
  • As a major milestone, the first paper that started here in the lab is published πŸŽ‰πŸ™Œ! Our computational tool BEscreen came out in Nucleic Acids Research a few days ago. We’ll write a whole post to describe in more detail what BEscreen is about. Huge congratulations for Philipp for spearheading this project and also to Shuang!
